Aspiring Middle Leadership Programme
A programme for new and aspiring Middle Leaders in Secondary Schools/Academies. The sessions are facilitated by Senior Leaders from a range of Alliance Schools. Included in the AMLP is a visit to another school that has a participant on this programme.
All sessions are twilights, from 4 pm – 5.30 pm and take place at Bishop Challoner Catholic College, Institute Road, Kings Heath, Birmingham, B14 7EG.
Session 1, Wednesday 29th January 2020
Effective use of data
- Using data to report on progress of key subgroups of students
- Using data to improve teaching and learning
- Using data in performance management and reviews
- Using data for accountability
Session 2, Wednesday 4th March 2020
- Understanding the school development process
- Identifying and prioritising areas for change
- Leading change

Aspiring Senior Leadership Programme
This programme is suitable for experienced middle leaders in secondary schools who are aspiring to be senior leaders. Included in the ASLP is a one-day visit to another school that has a participant on this programme.
All sessions are twilights, from 4 pm – 5.45 pm and take place at Bishop Challoner Catholic College or Swanshurst School.
