Director's Welcome

I am delighted to welcome you to Bishop Challoner Training School Alliance (BCTSA) SCITT.

We are a teacher training provider working with Primary and Secondary trainee teachers across the West Midlands, and we are proud of our supportive, high-quality, and ultimately joyful teacher training programmes.

Our SCITT mission: To transform trainee teachers into connective, reflective, and supportive practitioners, who have an immediate and long-term impact on the children they teach

Teaching is a career with huge capacity to make a positive difference to the lives of the children you teach, and the society we live in.

In choosing to train with us, you are joining a community united by this strong sense of purpose, and nurtured by mutual support and care.

We believe in the potential of all our trainees to become the inspirational teachers of the future, and we work hard to support our trainees on their individual journey to qualify.

Our programmes are delivered by exceptional teachers from schools across the region, so you will be learning from authentic experts, sharing learning from their own classrooms, from the first day you set foot in your classroom in September.

I hope you find all the information you need here. Please do get in contact with the team so we can support you as you start this most wonderful of careers.

Best wishes as you start your new career,

Emily Giubertoni - SCITT Director, FCCT, NPQH
