From Intern to Teacher! 

 

I joined Bishop Challoner Alliance as an intern with no aspirations, and after the STEM Internship I knew that a career in teaching will be the best fit for me.

During my training year, I experienced the agonies and triumphs of learning to teach. I worked in a challenging school environment, but I had support and guidance every step of the way. I was afraid that I would not be able to cope with the workload, but I realised that when you love what you do you will find a way to make it work for you. 

 

My top two tips for trainees are: be very resilient and remember that every day is different, if you did not make a difference today, you can make one tomorrow!

 

I had an amazing journey and I would recommend this experience to any person interested in a teaching career.
